The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) launched The Evolution of Commercial Vehicles in China: A Retrospective Evaluation of Fuel Consumption Standards and Recommendations for the Future. The paper analyzes China’s Stage 1, 2 and 3 fuel consumption standards for heavy-duty vehicles and offers policy recommendations for the development of Stage 4 standards.
